All of that can be avoided easily. You just need to move to some of the amazing suburban areas near NYC. That way you get the best of both worlds. Also, the air is less polluted as soon as you move from the big cities. So, today we will be exploring those suburban places and maybe you will find your new home there. Once the time comes to move we can show you who can help you to start your new life easily.
Forest Hills is the best for families
Since most families are moving to the suburbs, we decided to start with Forest Hills. This might not the trendiest neighborhood in NYC but it is one of the best. When it comes to raising a family in New York City, Queens is your best bet and so is this suburb. In addition to cheaper rent, green spaces, and delicious food, this area also boasts a low crime rate. Forest Hills, in the heart of Queens, is widely considered to be one of the city’s finest residential neighborhoods for families. Families who enjoy outdoor activities will appreciate being near Forest Park and also Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.
The kids can attend some of the best schools in the country, including Forest Hills Montessori School as well as the Kew-Forest School, and (Queens) High School for the Sciences at York College. Reasonably priced pre-war apartments and roomy Tudor-style houses make Forest Hills one of the top locations to purchase a house in New York City. Even NYC retirees love this suburb.

If you like the village vibes go to Katonah
You will get a carefree vibe just by walking through this suburb. Even though the pandemic managed to ruin some of the vibes but this place is still quite amazing. Living here will be much cheaper and easier than in NYC. Katonah, one of Bedford’s three hamlets, is home to a charming downtown area complete with both a Metro-North station. You will also find a variety of unique shops housed in Victorian buildings with either gabled or shingled roofs, or even flat roofs that give off an air of a saloon.
The Katonah Museum of Art, built in 1990 after a prototype by Edward Larrabee Barnes, stands in calm contrast to the flamboyance of antiques. On display since the museum’s reopening on July 26 are quilted portraits by American fiber artist Bisa Butler that focus on the Black experience.
White Plains is our favorite
This is the 16th largest community in New York so if you don’t like the small areas this is the place for you. White Plains has excellent educational, medical, and cultural facilities in addition to its well-known status as a shopping and dining mecca for Westchester County residents. We liked this place because it is great for all ages and they have amenities for everyone to live their best life. The proximity to NYC is just a plus. This place is amazing on its own.
Many people consider White Plains to be upstate New York. Kate and Rooney Mara, Richard Gere, Michael Douglas, Blake Lively, and Ryan Renolds with their kids, Ralph Lauren, and many other A-list celebrities have lived there at some moment. This is one of the reasons why it is considered to be one of the best suburbs in the area. If you would like to add your name to this amazing list of great people who live here, make sure to reach out to nearby experts to help you. There is no reason to have a tough time with moving and settling in. This place also has amazing movers who will be at your disposal whenever you need them to.

For those who wish to live on the waterfront, you should check out Carmel
This is also one of the most affordable areas. Located roughly 50 miles from the George Washington Bridge, Carmel (the stress is on the first syllable) encompasses the communities of Carmel, Mahopac, and Mahopac Falls. The area is home to a number of lakes and 140 freshwater ponds. The lakes, which were either artificially created or enlarged by damming rivers, became popular fishing and boating destinations.
Some of the best properties available are also pretty affordable right now so make sure to check out Zillow and see for yourself. If this place looks great for you start packing your bags. The rest you can leave up to Pack & Go Movers. They are equipped to handle pretty much anything you throw at them.

Valley Stream is the best place if you are looking for diversity
Money magazine ranked this charming area, a village in Nassau County on Long Island’s South Shore, as the best place to live in New York State in 2017. Not much has changed since then. The neighborhood’s low crime rate, high-quality schools, an abundance of parks offering a wide variety of activities, pristine appearance, and convenient location all contributed to its victory. The village, which encompasses 3.5 square miles, is bordered and crossed by highways. It also has two Long Island Rail Road stations within its borders. This suburb is located 5 miles east of John F. Kennedy International Airport. That can be quite convenient.
